With a 4D Desktop subscription, you can run a desktop application on one Windows or macOS computer.

The subscription covers the following usages:

• A stand-alone application
• A 4D app to open compiled application
• A 4D app to open interpreted application
• A stand-alone application connecting remotely to a non-4D database or a 4D database (using the ORDA Remote Datastore)

The subscription provides anytime access to the most recent Long-Term Support (LTS) and Feature Releases.

Previous releases covering previous LTS or Feature Releases can also be used.
